With the sad demise of Team Deliverance - the only other GB team - I just wanted to wish your team all the best. I will continue to watch you - you are doing fantastically. How about winning ?!

Lads and Ruth. Brilliant so far. Looks a bit fiesty on the heat front- I bet the swimming bit was a pleasant interlude! I was going to tell you a joke to try and make sure you're smiling - but then I realised I'm a girl so I can't remember any....
Well. On that note. Keep on going. I bet you've got tonnes of strength you haven't unleashed on those kiwis and Americans yet.
Move fast at night and say no to strangers.
DO WELL. Nic

NEWSFLASH - Big Brother and the FA have combined to give you the prize of a lifetime - you can either a) be whisked straight from the finish line direct to the Big Brother house for a true test of egocentric endurance and stamina or b) you can go straight to Germany to join the other 60,000 sunburnt, tatooed, beer bellied, lager loving and articulate England fans. If you chose Germany you cannot wear any item of clothing on your upper torso (except Ruth of course!) and you must learn at least 3 jingoistic anthems. You'll receive £1,000 cash everytime you are seen on the 10 o'clock news throwing a chair.
If you come in the top 10 at PQ - you get both prizes.
Tom - we need to chat about the Wye Valley thing, hurry up and get home and I'll call you (in work hours of course!). Warren - I met the chap that sits next to you at work the other day.
That's all from me. Johnny

Guys,
just a little message from one of the many teams who trailed well behind you (about a day & a half in our case) in WARC.
I know for a lot of Brits its a tough choice between watching your progress on a pc and sitting watching the footie with a cold beer.
The course looks tough & I think I can safely say all AR Brits are behind you (nothing new there!), cheering you along.
Just to let you know, Johnny Mayne & Anthony Emmet have organised some drinks in Leicester Square on the 6th if any of you are around, for London-based adventure racers. Country-bumkins also invited.

Evening chaps. How's it with you? Just been to a top notch cricket match. Somerset 'Apple Crunchers' whooped Gloucestershire 'Gert Lushes'. By the looks of it you're about halfway through now....Can't see any chippy's or pubs on the course!!!! What!?!! Take the 'Ice Cold In Alex' approach that should see you through.. Grit, determination.....oh and a thirst for an ice cold beer. As John Mills says once he reaches the bar - 'Worth waiting for'. Tally Ho!

French sneaked through with a coupleof late ones to beat Spain 3-1 . Zidane put the icing on the cake after Viera headed in from a dubiously won free kick from Henry.
I'm tired doing the flybyes so keep it going

Good luck all, I can't beleive you had to carry horses for the first few stages, crazy ruddy race. I heard a new stage being sneaked in - Its using 2 canoes for skiing. one team members foot in each one and racing down sand mountains. Yeeee harrrrrrrr. I'm tuning in for that one.. Sounds like the Munchkin is tapping out the pace so keep on it. Cheers The Emily wranglers

Can you believe it what a game...... 16 bookings in one game - 4 red cards, I tell you these Russian refs don't understand the game of football. I was cool though, I shot the only goal. So now we play you in the quarter finals.
Come to my bar sometime and I will buy you a beer! Keep running.....

I was just sick on the pitch from the heat so make sure you keep hydrated....
We're through to the quarter finals winning 1-0, so come on lads let's see you hold the flag for England - then we can share the bus round London!

What an attractive bunch you look in your cropped race tops - more like pom pom girls than adventure racers!!
Best of luck to you all - I'll be following your every step from my desk and I'll make sure I send regular updates on what's happening in the UK - Big Brother, Wimbledon, World Cup, what bike to buy (full sus or hard tail!)
