We are so proud of you all. What an inspiration to not only adventure racers, but for all Louisiana natives. The "Spirit" of Louisiana is the triumphant and tenacious manner in which we overcome adversity. I remember the fire truck that the people of our great state sent to New York City after 911 to give them the encouragement to press on. The fire trucks name was the "Spirit of Louisiana." This team represents that same spirit post Hurricane Katrina for all of Louisiana. The story of team Go lite/Spirit of Louisiana is the story for the nation to see. We have been portrayed in the media, I should say less than favorable. This is an opportunity for the nation to see the true nature and courage of Louisiana. Our prayers are with you as you train and prepare. We will be there at the finish line to cheer you in. (Team CK/Blue Runner; Adventure Goddesses)
