Suz, Frank, & Toby, It’s clear to see that the challenges your facing are no match for your team’s determination to complete the expedition and finish strong !! Be Happy and be Safe!!!

For all those that have been supporting us throughout the race, thank you very much. I became ill after stopping to fix some bothersome blisters, we were currently in 10th, when i stood to get them fixed i almost lost conciousness and had trouble finding my balance. We left in 15th, and i struggled to make it to check point 9 i really needed to have my body catch up, this would have taken between 2-4 hours, the team decided to press on in order to make all the required check points and remain in the expedition. I have never felt that way nor wish it on my worst enemy, and i know the teams frustration, becase it is a postion i have found myself in latley as well, not racing together before, the team was unable to know if i would be able to continue, i was not sure either, i just know i needed rest. I am o.k. and felt great after about 2.5 hours. Thank you for your support and GO Team! I hope this helps to ease the worry! Thanks again lots of love Scott!

Toby, Frank and Suz...following things very closely..your guys are incredible..so sorry that Scott had to drop and you guys are unranked..but you are all AWESOME! TAKE CARE AND BE SAFE...

From: Scott Angove Posted: June 27, 2006 5:11 PM
If anyone has any information on the status of the team, please post it here. They've been "unranked" since monday. I assume that means that they lost a racer, or took help, or something. I'm going with "no news is good news" for now, but would love to know. Any ideas?

From: Jeffrey Kuchma Posted: June 27, 2006 4:17 PM
Suz, Me and all the guys from Dirty Harry's are rooting for you. Just wanted to drop you a line and say hello. I hope all is going well.

I was rooting for yinz guys the moment I saw you were in the race. My wife and I (Team Not Dead Yet) met Toby at the PURE two years ago at the Panther Hollow Bridge. I really can't wait to hear your story of the race. You still appear to be going strong even though you are unranked. Good Luck.

Hey Toby, I don't know if you remember me but I am Tara's brother. I raced in your race in Indiana, PA. Good luck Pittsburgh! You will have a blast PQ is an awesome race!

From: Jeremiah Reiner Posted: June 23, 2006 8:53 AM
HEY SCOTT!!! I konw that your about to embark on a journey that really started two and a half months ago. Just think you already overcame a logistical cluster F@#k to get to Red Cliffs. In less than two days you will embark with your bad ass newly formulated team on a journey of self and team discovery. STAY HYDRATED!!! Remember to soak up the sun and embrace your mind and body in the adventure. Relax and remember the name of the game is fun. If you tell your self it's fun even if at that moment it sucks, it's still fun to your mind. To SUZ, TOBY and FRANK your lucky to be racing with SCOTT who will probably make you laugh all the way to the finish. At least that's what happens when we race. I'll be thinking of you guys and looking forward to following the teams progress all the way to the finish. Finally in the words of Thomas Paine "I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection." Have fun!!! Scott your my hero!!!

From: Mike Hennon Posted: June 23, 2006 8:47 AM
